A Note from Our Founder

My journey in the financial world began with a deep appreciation for the industry’s foundation. For the majority of my career, I lived and breathed banking. I loved the responsibility, the precision of the due diligence, and the incredible people I met every day. There is a unique energy in that world—from the high-stakes transactions to the simple, satisfying security of the vault.

I want to be clear: I am not anti-bank. Financial institutions are the backbone of our modern economy, providing the infrastructure that allows our world to move forward. But through my years in the field, I realized that while the backbone is strong, we have a golden opportunity to make the heart of the system even better.

While working toward my securities licenses, I spent a lot of time reflecting on how we can truly serve the modern consumer. I saw how easily traditional credit products—which should be fantastic tools for cash flow and rewards—can unintentionally set people back financially. I found the practice of pushing debt onto those already struggling to be a cycle that needed breaking.
